This is my personal site. These terms are deliberately short and describe how I would like the content here to be treated.
Content and copyright
The writing, code samples, images, and OG cards on this site are © 2026 Niraj Basnet, unless credited otherwise.
You are welcome to quote from posts, link to them, and share them. Please attribute me and link back to the original post. What I would rather you did not do is republish a post in full, mirror it, or feed it through a rewriter and publish the result as your own.
Code snippets in posts are there to be used. Treat them as MIT-licensed: copy them into your own projects freely, with no obligation to credit me. Where a post refers to one of my public repositories, the licence in that repository is the one that governs it.
The RSS feed
The RSS feed is for reading in a feed reader. It is not a licence to republish. It carries summaries with attribution back to the original post for that reason.
Accuracy
Posts here are notes from my own work: what I tried, what broke, and what eventually worked. They are accurate as far as I know at the time I publish them, and they go stale. Tooling changes, APIs change, and a command that worked for me may not work for you.
Nothing on this site is professional advice. Posts here are notes from my own learning and coursework, and any code shared is provided as-is - test things yourself before relying on them in your own projects.
No warranty
This site and everything on it is provided as is, with no warranty of any kind. I do not promise the site will be available, that the information is complete or current, or that following it will work out for you. To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site or anything you found on it.

I link to other sites, including my own projects and third-party tools. I do not control those sites and am not responsible for their content or their practices.
Changes
I may update these terms. When I do, the date at the top changes. Continuing to use the site means the current version applies.
